Ms Sweet

This warm, comedy drama centres around Vera Sweet, a long-suffering housewife and mother with a gift for making delicious confectionery. Her whole family takes her for granted but when she catches her husband cheating, it’s the last straw! Having thrown her philandering hubby out, Vera needs a job. Her experience as a family dogsbody and housewife doesn't appeal to modern employers. Determined to make ends meet and relishing her new independence, Vera starts her own confectionery business, but soon realises she needs help and enlists her elderly dad, teenage daughter, and cranky sister with mixed results.
